Camp Schedule

At Hot Ground Gym®, our spring break camps offer a dynamic and diverse daily schedule for your child. Each day is thoughtfully crafted to provide a well-rounded blend of physical, creative, and social experiences.

Mornings

  • 8am-8:45am – Receiving: As the kids arrive to camp, they will get their belongings “stowed away”, and join other campers for some free time as they explore the gym and meet new friends.
  • 9am –  Morning Obstacle Course & Mission: The kids will complete their morning “workout” obstacle course here, which is concluded with their first teambuilding “Mission”. They love it!
  • 10-10:30am – Snack Break & Free Time: After enjoying an energy-recharging snack, the kids will get some free time to play with their friends.
  • 10:30-11:45am – HGG Games & Skills: This is the “good stuff” where the kiddos may play mind games, complete more missions, participate in relay races, work on their hand-eye coordination skill with a little “target practice”, go outside (season & weather permitting), and/or other awesome activities.
  • 11:45am-12:30pm – Lunch & AM/PM departure/arrivals: If the kids are with us all day, they will eat lunch now. If the kids are with us for a half day, this is when they will be ready to be picked up from the AM session or dropped off for the PM session.

Afternoons

  • 12:30-12:45pm – Free Time: Where the kids can play together until camp starts again.
  • 12:45pm – Afternoon Obstacle Course & Mission: The kids will complete their afternoon “workout” obstacle course which will be different from the morning’s, and is concluded with a new teambuilding “Mission”.
  • 2pm – Final Snack Break: The kids will recharge their batteries with a quick 10-15 minute snack and rest time.
  • 2:15-3:30pm – HGG Games & Skills: The final skills, missions, and/or games for the day will be going on here.
  • 3:30pm –  Camp Conclusion & Pick Up: We go over what was done in camp that day, asking which was their favorite. We will highlight any super-special camp occurrences for the day, and we will give everyone the chance to quickly speak about their experience. Then, the kids will gather their belongings and wait to be picked up.

Our 5 Pillars of Confidence

Discipline

The first aspect we hone in kids is their discipline. We want them to be still when absorbing knowledge, ask questions when they are confused, and help others when they are “squared away”.

Obstacle Course Fitness

Teaching obstacle negotiation techniques to kids that are directly supported by physical exercise introduction, provides the kids a great opportunity to increase their fitness levels while having a blast in a safe and supportive environment.

Teamwork

“Teamwork makes the dream work”! We love making the kiddos work together to complete challenging “missions”, where they learn to cooperate and collaborate.

Problem-Solving

“Challenges need solutions”. To meet a problem head-on and overcome it is the goal of our programs. The kids will collaborate with the team, learn their job, and work to complete the mission. Learning resilience, dedication, and teamwork along the way.

Leadership

“To lead you must first follow”. This is very true here too. As the kids collaborate on “missions” we start to see their leadership skills shine through their personalities. We encourage them to help and lead each other.
